  • The Lancashire head coach has admitted they have shown an interest in taking the England fast bowler to Emirates Old Trafford next season.
  • Although he is still on the fringes for both, his availability for county cricket next season is likely to be high, and he would revel on the type of pitches produced at Emirates Old Trafford.
  • With Finn out of contract, counties are able to notify Middlesex of their intent to talk to the player in 28 days to allow them to try and work out a new contract.
  • Since leaving the Zimbabwe Test side to join Lancashire as a Kolpak in 2013, the 28-year-old has been a star performer with the red ball for the Red Rose, taking 113 Championship wickets in the last two seasons.
  • “Kyle Jarvis left when he was performing really well for Zimbabwe and he’s obviously gained more experience from playing county cricket.
