  • The Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) president, Mahinda Vallipuram said the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had given Malaysia the opportunity to host the South Asian country’s limited-overs series against Australia.
  • Pakistan and Australia were scheduled to play three one-day internationals (ODI) on October 18, 20 and 22, followed by three Twenty20 internationals on October 25, 27 and 29 at the International Cricket Council (ICC) recognised world-class facility.
  • “After a few months of discussions with PCB, we are very thankful that we have been given the opportunity to stage this series.
  • “As you know, the Kinrara Oval has successfully staged many international events including the 2006 DLF Cup involving Australia, India and the West Indies and more recently the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup and the ACC Women’s Asia Cup.
