Titans batsman Tony de Zorzi will captain the Cricket South Africa (CSA) Emerging Squad which leaves on Sunday for the sub-continent to play their Sri Lanka counterparts in two four-day unofficial Test matches and three One-Day International (ODI) matches.

Colombo: Sri Lanka’s sports minister called on the International Cricket Council to establish “simple, clear rules” on Wednesday after skipper Dinesh Chandimal was punished for ball tampering.
Sri Lanka Sports Minister has stressed that the current rules regarding ball-tampering are “vague and lack clarity” and therefore the International Cricket Council (ICC) should come out with “simple and clear” rules.

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka's sports minister called on the International Cricket Council to establish "simple, clear rules" Wednesday after skipper Dinesh Chandimal was punished for ball tampering "Laws governing the offence / act of altering the condition of the ball are somewhat vague and lack clarity," Faiszer Musthapha said in a statement.
The independent Judicial Commissioner, The Hon Michael Beloff QC, handed Sri Lanka captain Dinesh Chandimal, coach Chandika Hathurusinghe and manager Asanka Gurusinha eight suspension points, which means the trio has also been suspended for the first four ODIs along with both the Tests against South Africa, the International Cricket Council (ICC) said on Monday.
